New Hampshire.

The family unit and I spent the last four days in New Hampshire. We drove 27 hours with the express purpose of trying to go to as many democratic presidential candidate town halls as possible. I was hoping that it would also be a good civics lesson for my kids (especially the 11 year old).

We saw Amy Klobuchar, Andrew Yang, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg. All in all, it was inspiring to see the American democracy in action and to see the passion, intelligence, optimism and basic "goodness" of all of these candidates. All of us had a spring in our stride at the end of the town halls. I think that any one of these candidates would be fantastic as President.

The highlight was being invited to be on stage for Pete's townhall! Unfortunately, we did not get to see Bernie and Joe Biden in action (I believe that both of them were in Iowa this week). Amongst the ones we saw speak, both my wife and I agreed that Cory Booker made the biggest impact. He spoke very eloquently about his family's struggles and his genuine remorse that more was not / could not be done to prevent school shootings was very powerful.

Our son was frustrated at how difficult it was to choose his favorite :-)

I would definitely encourage each of you to try to go to a town hall live. It's a great experience.
