Displays on cars ...

Driving on US highways in pretty cool - In fact, there is even a sign language that exists between the drivers - When you want to change lanes and another driver lets you do that, you wave your hand in thanks, if your brake lights are'nt working, someone will point that out to you .. And theres an entire community of CB Radio users who tell each other about traffic cops they spotted on each highway ...

I thought that it would be cool if we could take it a step further and have a LED display board on the back of every car, where they could flash messages to other motorists. There could be about 20 pre-configured messages that could be shown on the board.

You could thank people, you could just say hi - All with this display ... And when you spot a hot girl, you could say "You're hot !" and then slow down and allow her to pass you and hopefully she will have the message - "So are you" and not "Beat it, jerk" !

A whole community of drivers communiating with each other ...

I know there might be questions raised on whether this would pose a serious distraction to drivers - I wouldnt think this was any more of a distraction than any of the following:

• Bumper stickers
• DVD screens in other people's cars
• Your GPS system

Would any of buy this ?
